Emmerdale’s paedo teacher Maya will continue abusing Jacob AFTER she’s caught out hints actress Amy Walsh
EMMERDALE star Amy Walsh has hinted paedo teacher Maya Stepney’s abuse of teen Jacob Gallagher could continue after she gets caught.
The soap star, who plays Tracy Metcalfe, will have a huge showdown with Maya after learning she’s been grooming Jacob, but it might not be the end of the saga.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: “I hope this means the abuse will stop. I don’t know the outcome to this story yet, but I hope it does.”
The game will finally be up for Maya next week after she us caught with her toyboy lover.
Speaking to Inside Soap, Amy confirmed: “Maya’s caught with Jacob by one of the girls, and news travels fast,”
“Initially, as a group, they don’t believe that what’s been seen is the truth – not that someone is lying, but that there must be an explanation.
As soon as they realise what’s happening, they want to get Maya on her own and hear the truth. It all gets a bit crazy…”.
Amy is sworn to secrecy on what happens next, but she does reveal Tracy is on the warpath.
“It comes as a shock to Tracy, because she considers Jacob as a stepson,” said the soap actress.

“She’s very protective of him, as he’s been good to her in the past.
“Also, she’s been completely duped by Maya’s lies. Tracy’s shown kindness in looking after her when she was ill, and her relationship with Billy ended because of a lie that Maya told.
“She’s hurt, upset and baffled by it all.”
Earlier this week, The Sun Online explained how David Metcalfe (Jacob’s dad) is left confused and heartbroken after girlfriend Maya scuppers his plans of a marriage proposal.
David then manages to find solace in the arms of his estranged wife Tracy [Metcalfe] and the pair kiss.
