Breaking: Dokpesi's structures currently demolished by Abuja officials
Some officials of the Federal Capital Territory Development Authority (FCDA) are demolishing structures belonging to media mogul and chairman of DAAR Communications in Abuja.
The cable reports that the officials arrived at the DAAR Communications premises in Asokoro hills at about 11 am on Tuesday, April 16, before pulling down some structures.
While the reason for the demolition is still unknown, an official of the organisation said the building meant for security staff had already been demolished.

It was also gathered that the action of the FCTA officials in the DAAR Communications premises has caused panic among workers and residents of the area.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that in a bid to stem recurrence of building collapse in the state, the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) has said it has pulled down 30 out of 80 distressed buildings marked for demolition in Lagos Island.
General manager of LASBCA, Olalekan Shodehinde, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Wednesday, April 10, that the demolition would come in phases because some of the buildings were subject of litigation.

Legit.ng gathers that Shodehinde said the demolished buildings were located at Elegbata street, Apongbon; Tokunbo street, by Glover; Inabiri street, Egatin street, Ojo Giwa and John Street among others.
Shodehinde said that the 80 buildings were marked for demolition following the collapse of a three storey building on March 13 at Ita Faji area of Lagos Island in which 20 people were killed.
