Wanted man flees cops by crawling through a home-made tunnel under his floorboards in Leeds
A WANTED man fled cops by crawling through a home-made tunnel under his floorboards.
He refused to answer the door when officers banged on it.
By the time they burst into the home he had sneaked down the bolthole and got outside.
Police checked the property and found a square hole that had been cut out of the floorboards.
The fugitive was still at large last night following his crafty getaway.
West Yorkshire Police Leeds West team told about his escape on Saturday — and vowed to get even with him.
