Naked driver runs across busy freeway to rescue her loose dog

A naked woman shocked drivers as she ran across six lanes of traffic to rescue her dog.

Stunned drivers filmed the strange scene that took place on Interstate 95 near Flagler Beach in Florida on Friday.

It is unclear exactly what led to the obscene rescue attempt, but a fully-clothed man was seen walking alongside the nude woman, carrying a dog toward a blue car parked on the roadside.

‘People do love their animals, so I can understand that. I just don’t know if people unclothe themselves before attempting to save their animals’ Richard Griffin, who said she shot the video, told WESH.

‘The peculiar thing was the lady was pretty calm while walking across the street even though there was vehicles going by.’

A red car can be seen driving by as she crossed the street, barely missing the woman.

Griffin said he believed that the dog escaped from the car and added that both the woman and the man holding the pup made it back to their car safely.

The video was later posted online and was widely shared. One Facebook user even wrote that the incident was ‘one of the most epic moments in Florida history.’

‘It was probably a triple dog dare,’ wrote another.

The couple left the scene so quickly that state police were unable to respond. The woman could have been arrested for public indecency and both of them could have been issued tickets for traffic violations.
