Libby Squire suspect denies stealing sex toys and performing sex act in street days before disappearance
A POLISH butcher arrested by Libby Squire cops has today denied stealing sex toys and performing a lewd act on her street days before she vanished,
Pawel Relowicz, 24, was arrested five days after Libby vanished following a drunken night out in Hull on January 31.
The dad-of-two today appeared at Hull Crown Court to deny five counts of burglary, one count of handling stolen goods and three of outraging public decency and three of voyeurism.
The offences – unrelated to Libby’s disappearance – include allegedly performing a sex act on himself on Libby’s street just 12 days before she vanished.
He is also accused of stealing a “quantity” of sex toys, condoms, knickers and photographs from a home in Hull days before she was last seen.
The alleged burglary – where a laptop, Kindle and speaker were also stolen – is said to have taken place between January 25 and January 28 – Libby vanished on January 31.
TRIAL DATE SET
Rełowicz also allegedly stole three vibrators from a home on his own street and took a PlayStation 4, a controller and £25 in cash from another house.
Wearing a grey tracksuit, the dad also denied observing a person carrying out a “private act” for his own sexual gratification.
All the offences were allegedly carried out between December 1, 2017, and January 28, 2019, in Hull.
Relowicz was remanded in custody ahead of a provisional trial date set for July 22 at Sheffield Crown Court.
Judge Paul Watson QC said: “There will be a further hearing of this case in June.
“You can attend by way of video link. As far as you are concerned the important date is July 22.”

The butcher was arrested on February 6 on suspicion of abducting Libby and still remains under investigation in connection with the 21-year-old’s disappearance.
University of Hull student Libby was last seen on January 31 after a night out with friends when she was turned away from Welly nightclub in the city.
The parents of missing chef Claudia Lawrence have now said they want to comfort Libby’s parents after being struck by the similarities in the two cases.
