My marriage proposal was a stunt - Comedian Broda Shaggy apologizes
Earlier on, Legit.ng came across a video of popular Instagram comedian, Broda Shaggy in which he was proposing to a lady. The video immediately went viral with the likes of OAP congratulating him on finding love.
Well, it turns out there would be no wedding as that was entirely a comedy skit. Shortly after the real boyfriend of the lady took to social media to more or less call out the Broda Shaggy, the comedian has now taken to social media to tender his apologies to the offended man and his fans as well.
He wrote: "♂️ Alright, good morning to everyone reading this, PLEASE AND PLEASE to all bloggers carrying this video saying i Proposed to the lady, IT IS ALL A JOKE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, This happened Like 3 months back in Abuja and she wasn't the only girl we played the trick on.

"Please NA JOKE O, i didn't wanna post anything about this but just had to cos the girl posted that HER fiance is having a problem with the video. Please Sir i never met your girl before this video please. I dint have her contact and neither have i seen her since the day this happened. Please guys i am sorry if this has caused any issue in your relationship."

Well, it's a good thing he came out to clear the air as being the cause of a failed relationship wasn't what he had in mind when he made the skit.
However, Broda Shaggy isn't the first Nigerian celebrity pull out a wedding proposal stunt. Recall a few months ago, Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing left fans filled with excitement after a photo of her supposed boyfriend proposing to her, went viral. She later took to social media to apologize, stating it was all a comedy stunt.
