The New York Times reports that singer Ryan Adams offered to assist a number of women in their careers, including actress and singer Mandy Moore, who was married to Adams from 2009 to 2016. Several women in the article say Adams would pursue them sexually, and if he was rejected, he would often retaliate by withdrawing support and subject them to verbal and emotional abuse.
