A partnership with BSMEPA in organizing a Bulgarian-Macedonian ICT Business Forum was discussed by the Executive Director of the Agency Dr. Boyko Takov and the BASSCOM Executive Director Mrs. Maya Marinova and Mr. Georgi Brashnarov, a member of the Management Board.
In the building of the BSMEPA they held a meeting to discuss the potential through which the Agency to interact with the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies BASSCOM in order to develop and promote the Bulgarian business and SMEs in the ICT sphere.
A series of future initiatives, including cooperation in the bilateral ICT Business Forum, were the focus of the meeting. The idea for holding a Bulgarian-Macedonian business forum, which our country hosts, was born during the visit of the Executive Director of BSMEPA, Dr. Boyko Takov, to a working visit to the town of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Then the two sides discussed the possibility of a business forum, which with the assistance of the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises to be held in Bulgaria in 2019.
BASSCOM supported the initiatives of the BSMEPA in the direction of the development of the ICT business environment in the country and expressed willingness to be a partner of the Agency, which is ready to continue to support the Association's initiatives.
