The U.S. central bank should take no action on interest rates "for the time being," Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan said Friday, according to Reuters. "It's very important that the Fed get out of the way here and take no action in terms of the Fed funds rate for the time being," Kaplan said in a speech in Austin. He said his base case is for the Fed to remain on hold until at least June.
