WEST POINT, Ga. – The number to beat is now 15 in a row, as the 15th-ranked Bryan College women's basketball team continues to raise the bar during their historic run. On Nov. 7, the Lions played host to fellow Appalachian Athletic Conference member Point University (Ga.) and downed the Skyhawks 75-63 in what would be the start to a program best. Since the first meeting with Point, the top-ranked Bryan squad has won 15 straight games. Following their last outing where they routed St. Andrews University (N.C.) 94-69 last week, which set a new program best, the Lions topped the Skyhawks for a second time this year on Wednesday night in dominating style 89-51. The 15-game winning streak is now a new high for the Bryan program. Over that span, it's included an undefeated month of December and a perfect 14-0 record in AAC play. Also, the Lions' 16-1 overall start to the season is the best start for Bryan women's basketball in recorded history.
