With paintings of a train, water management system and a satellite, among other things, walls along Captain Vijayant Thapar Marg near Noida’s Rajnigandha Chowk are greeting passersby and commuters with colourful reminders of the country’s advancement in technology. The 400 metre long boundary wall of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Township in Sector 17, facing the main road, are being renovated with paintings depicting messages of the Clean India Campaign, role of BHEL in India’s development and slogans to discourage use of single-use plastics.
