Juventus handed injury boost as two defenders return to training
Juventus defenders Gleison Bremer and Daniele Rugani trained with the rest of the team today on the eve of a Champions League match against Paphos.
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti received good news from today’s training session as both Bremer and Rugani were spotted on the field at Continassa, working with the rest of the team, as reported by Ilbianconero.com.
Bremer and Rugani injury boost for Juventus
The Serie A giants host Paphos in the Champions League Round 6 on Wednesday. According to Sky Sport Italia, Bremer and Rugani are unlikely to start but could get some minutes in the second half, especially the Brazilian.
Bremer underwent meniscus surgery in October and, as expected, he’s resumed training after circa two months.
Vlahovic watches Juventus’ training
Dusan Vlahovic also underwent surgery last week, and even if he’s expected to return in March 2026, he was spotted at Continassa today, following his teammates’ training session from the sidelines.
Both Juventus and Paphos have earned six points in five Champions League games so far.
