The popularity of Conor McGregor isn’t shaking the oddsmakers when it comes to a potential fight with UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
With Usman’s manager suggesting that McGregor get a title shot and Usman himself taking a shot at “The Notorious” on Twitter, the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have offered bettors a line with Usman currently a heavy favorite at -350.
I really don’t understand why you all want this man DEAD!!! I’d shag him in there if I wanted and he’d “DO NOTHIN” FOH pic.twitter.com/PvawNvX3Ru

McGregor is listed as a +285 underdog.
The welterweight title picture is currently in flux, with top contender Jorge Masvidal suddenly teasing a rematch with Nate Diaz, and former champion Tyron Woodley facing Gilbert Burns this weekend. Colby Covington is also waiting in the wings, having targeted a rematch with Usman as well as bouts with Woodley and Masvidal.
Usman recorded his first successful defense of the UFC welterweight championship in December at UFC 245, defeating Covington by fifth-round TKO.
McGregor, a former featherweight and lightweight champion, is coming off of a 40-second TKO of Donald Cerrone this past January, which moved his UFC record at 170 pounds to 2-1.
