KATIE Price has blamed her daughter Princess for the death of one of her dogs.
In 2020, the 46-year-old bought the youngster a puppy for her 13th birthday but it ended in horror when the pooch – named Rollo – got stuck in an electric armchair and died.
Katie has now addressed the incident, as well as the other occasions she has been accused of animal cruelty, in her new book This Is Me.
According to the Mirror, Katie told how was packing for a holiday when someone started shouting for her to come down.
She was told: “The dog, it’s dead….”
Katie wrote: “The breeder we had bought the dog from had given us CBD oil to give this dog and I don’t know if Princess had given it too much or what, but we knew it would sleep alot, and that day it had gone under the reclining chair to sleep and no-one had realised and it had been crushed.
“We took it to the vets when it died and paid for an autopsy because we wanted to understand what happened and they said breeders should never have given us CBD to use.
“Of course, all that is reported is that I had killed Princess’ dog because I had a big party and wasn’t taking care of it.”
There is an ongoing petition to stop the mum-of-five from owning another pet following a series of tragic deaths.
The media personality sparked backlash this week after revealing that she is expecting a new furry addition to the family this summer.
Katie got a guard dog in response to an acid attack on her car, but the move has worried people who are aware that seven animals have died in her care to date – –and the petition hit over 36,000 signatures.
She has had a dog for protection before and claims Blade was killed as an attempt to get at her.
The German Shepherd died after being hit by a vehicle on the A24, which was close to Katie’s East Sussex home.
The tragedy happened just seven months after another of Katie’s dogs, Sharon, was killed on the same road.
A driver picked the Pomeranian off the A24 and took her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex, who confirmed the death.
The year before that, a delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie, who was gifted to her by ex Kieran Hayler on her 38th birthday.
In 2020 a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car after escaping onto the A24.
Katie also had to give away an out-of-control Alsatian, Bear, for attacking other animals.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), offered Katie £5,000 in exchange for signing a legally binding agreement that means she won’t own another animal.
However, she hasn’t accepted this offer and instead claimed she has allegedly “tried to speak to PETA many times”.

JRC Bullies who gifted the dog to Katie were furious and said: “We are heartbroken that this has happened as we told Katie not to leave a small puppy on its own. “We can’t believe that the puppy was left unattended as we had left strict instructions.”
