A FITNESS fan has revealed her look in a Skims activewear haul in collaboration with Skins.
Although the brand didn’t come cheap, with leggings costing over $100, she described them as “atrocious.”
Kathryn Mueller (@KathrynMueller) described the Skins X Skims collaboration.
Skins is a clothing brand offering compressive athletic wear.
“[Skims] partnered with Skins,” she said in the video, describing Skins as a “compression brand.”
Firs, she tried the High Performance stirrup leggings, retailing for $128.
However, she felt the look was a bit outdated for her taste.
“I didn’t know people were still doing stirrup leggings,” she said.
She did not appreciate the rise or compression levels of the leggings as well.
“OK first of all, these leggings — atrocious,” she said.
“Oh and they’re gaping like heck in the back,” she added.
She also tried the Performance long sleeve top, retailing for $98.
The fashion fan said the thickness of the fabric was also an issue for her.
“This is pretty sheer, too,” she said. “Everything is sheer.”
Kathryn gave the high waisted biker shorts a shot as well, retailing for $98.
“They’re not thick thigh friendly,” she said of the shorts.
Next, she modeled the performance high waisted 7/8 leggings, which retail for $118.
“This thin material is just not going to be compressive,” she said of the leggings.
Finally, she tried the $78 performance racer back tank.
“It’s just too shiny for me,” she said. “I think shiny often looks cheap.”
