MARRIED At First Sight UK’s fans have applauded George’s mum after she took a savage swipe at her son.
Ahead of the final vows, the coupled headed home to weigh up their decision before the big day.
Wedding dress designer April and finance worker George have had their fair share of marital problems – including his trust issues.
Sharing her concerns about the marriage, the former Ms Great Britain said: “I just can’t be sure if he’ll be able to get over his insecurities with his trust issues”.
She explained that she had her own fears about “integrating” with his family life and admitted she needs to make the decision for “herself”.
Meanwhile, 130miles north of London, George reunited with his parents, who offered him some words of wisdom.

George admitted that his relationship with April has been very “different” to past relationships, despite it being a “challenge”.
He then explained that he has trust issues have been a barrier in the past, prompting his mum to tell him to “stop carrying around this fear” and to “take some emotional risks”.
George’s mum had some brutal words for her son and said: “If you’re overprotective with her it’s going to make things difficult with her.”
His concerned mum bluntly added: “In all of the relationships you’ve had, it’s never been the children that’s been the problem – it’s been you.”
Viewers were quick to praise his mum for her direct honesty.
One wrote: “George got TOLD. #MAFS”

A third said: “George’s mum is ace. He needs this talking to. #MAFSUK”

Someone else tweeted: “Eeeek even George’s mum knows that he’s the problem. #MAFSUK”
Last week, April hinted online that the relationship was now over, as she admitted she was “seeing a therapist”.
It comes after it was revealed last week that her Married At First Sight “husband” had been arrested for “emotional abuse”.
Police are investigating the 40-year-old over allegations of harassment and coercive control, the Met said last night.
It comes after The Sun told how three of his ex-girlfriends had raised concerns after spotting him on a trailer for the series.
Other women have now come forward and raised their own concerns, one source has claimed, while George continues to deny wrongdoing.
The Met Police said: “A 40-year-old man was arrested in Worcestershire on Thursday, September 29, on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour.
“He was taken to a police station and bailed pending further enquiries.”
The decision by show bosses to continue with the programme, which airs weeknights, raised eyebrows with the women involved.
A source close to her told The Sun: “April is having a very difficult time at the moment. She doesn’t want to ever see him again.”
Another insider explained: “This has been rumbling on for a while but now the police are involved, so many involved in the show thought surely they would have to pull it off air — or at the very least re-edit it.
“This has become a nightmare for the network, who didn’t know about allegations in his past before.”

April said she was seeking professional help since the show ended.
She wrote: “The traumas that have been brought on from this show have made me re-evaluate things. I’m not ashamed to admit, I’ve been seeing a therapist.”
Charity Women’s Aid said the entertainment industry should send a clear message that any allegation of domestic abuse must be thoroughly investigated. Channel 4 did not comment.
