A SHOCKING new picture shows scars on Amber Heard’s arms after she allegedly slipped in glass while trying to stop Johnny Depp choking her.
The actress broke down in tears in the witness box today as she recalled the “three day hostage situation”.
She claimed she was left with scars on her arms after cutting herself on shards of glass left on a counter from where Depp chucked bottles at her.
The star also told the High Court she feared Depp would kill her during the row in Australia in 2015.
Sobbing, Heard said: “He grabbed me by the neck and pushed me down against bar then hit me, choked me and spat in my face.
“He was putting so much pressure on my neck, I couldn’t get any words out, and I couldn’t get a purchase on the countertop because of all the liquid and broken glass.
“I was trying to get a purchase on the slick floor and countertops. I was trying to push myself away from the countertop to take a breath.
“It had been so long since I’d been able to breathe. I thought he’d lost control and would end up killing me, but I was just slipping everywhere, cutting myself.
“The bottoms of my feet were the worst. I was saying ‘Stop, stop, please Johnny, you’re really hurting me,’ but it was like he couldn’t hear me.”
Eleanor Laws QC, for Depp, said the scars on Heard’s arm appeared to be from “self-harming”.
She said: “They are straight lines and were inflicted by you, and certainly not during the struggle with Mr Depp.”
Heard said: “I have never self-harmed. Johnny is a self-harmer, I’m not.”
In her witness statement, the actress described the explosive drug-fuelled row in Australia in 2015 as the “worst thing I have ever been through”.
She told the High Court that Depp attacked her while she was naked as he screamed at her and made “nonsensical accusations”.
Heard also claimed Depp urinated in front of stunned onlookers as he tried to spell her name in wee and hid steak in her nightgown.
And she said he had taken a “a massive amount” of ecstasy washed down with whisky.
The couple had travelled to Australia where Depp was filming Pirates of the Caribbean.
They were due to spend three days alone but Heard said she realised she was “trapped” in the remote home with Depp, who had allegedly been taking drugs.
Recalling the alleged attack, she said: “The best way I can describe what happened in Australia is that it was like a three-day hostage situation.
“I was in a remote house, at least 20 minutes from help; where I could not leave; was trapped and isolated with a violent person suffering from manic depression, bipolar disorder and a pattern of repeated, drug-induced psychosis and violence, who was on a multiple-day drug and alcohol binge.
“Over the course of those three days, there were extreme acts of psychological, physical, emotional and other forms of violence.
“It is the worst thing I have ever been through. I was left with an injured lip and nose and cuts on my arms.”
Heard claimed Depp grabbed her by the neck, shoved her against the fridge and said he could “crush” her neck.
He then ripped her nightgown off so she was naked and shoved her against a bar as he had “strange, paranoid hallucinations”, the court heard.
Heard added: “At some point he pulled me around by my neck and pushed me down against the bar, I was against the bar, naked, bent over backwards, my back against the marble. He was pressing so hard on my neck I couldn’t breathe. I was trying to tell him that I couldn’t breathe.
“I remember thinking he was going to kill me in that moment.”
The court previously heard how the actor has accused Heard of severing the tip of his finger when she chucked a bottle of vodka at him.
But she claims the digit was sliced off when he smashed a phone against a wall in a drug-fuelled row.

A window has also been smashed and shattered glass can be seen littering the worktops after the couple allegedly caused £80,000 ($100,000) worth of damage in the gruesome bust-up.
Heard is now on day two of her evidence after an explosive day in court yesterday where she claimed she feared for her life in her and Depp’s turbulent marriage.
She claims the Pirates of the Caribbean star told her the only way out of the relationship was “death”.
And the actress accused Depp of threatening to “carve” her face up if she ever left him or hurt him.
Heard also claimed Depp threatened to “kill her many times” during explosive drug-fuelled rows.
The actress is expected to spend another two days in the witness box as she goes face-to-face with Depp.
He is suing The Sun for referring to him as a “wife-beater” in a 2018 article. The Sun, supported by Ms Heard, says the term was justified.
Depp is accused of turning his “rage and frustration” on Heard when he “failed to control” his drug and alcohol abuse.
The actor “descended into physically destructive behaviour” – causing him to refer to his “drunken and violent persona as ‘the monster'”, it was said.
But in a series of explosive revelations, Depp has branded Heard’s abuse allegations “complete lies”.
And he called his ex-wife “calculating, sociopathic and emotionally dishonest” as he accused her of “building a dossier” of false allegations as an “insurance policy”.
Depp also accused Heard of pooing in their marital bed after a birthday bust up, which he says was the catalyst for their bitter divorce.
The star also claims Heard severed his finger during a trip to Australia in 2015 by throwing a vodka bottle at him and accused her of repeatedly punching him in the face.
He has brought separate libel proceedings against Heard in the US.
The couple married in LA in 2015 after meeting on the set of comedy The Rum Diary.
But they divorced two years later after Heard, who donated her £5.5million settlement to charity, accused Depp of abuse.
