STACEY Solomon’s newborn son “flew out” during a quick labour, revealed her sister on today’s Loose Women.
The panel also told viewers how they had to cancel the baby shower they’d planned for Stacey following her early birth, but were full of love for their colleague.
The presenter’s sister Gemma was on the phone line and told viewers that the new mum is recovering well.
She said: “She’s so good. She did amazing. It was such a lovely birth. I was so privileged to be part of it. I feel like it flew out of her.
“There were tears of joy. Joe was so good.”
Gemma added that the couple were yet to reveal the baby’s name.
Stacey was watching at home and tweeted: “No matter how how intense these after birth pains are I’m smiling from ear to ear watching my family at @loosewomen celebrate my baby shower without me.
“Me and baby are so grateful to have you all in our lives we love you. I’m crying happy tears .”
A sweet picture of Stacey breastfeeding her little baby as she gazed down at him adoringly was shown.
Show anchor Andrea McLean revealed the panel had shelved their party plans following the happy news.
She said: “We were actually going to throw a baby shower party with Stacey today. We were all ready to go with decorations, games, presents, but we were too late! The baby had arrived.”
In a statement read out on the show, Stacey told her co-stars: “Hi everyone, I was so looking forward to my baby shower today. Gutted I can’t be there, but me and baby are watching from home, which feels even more special now.
“Thanks so much, I love you all. The first place I am going when I can put some normal pants on and walk properly is into the Loose Women studio. Love, Stace.”
This morning Joe Swash announced the couple’s baby was a boy.
Proud dad Joe revealed the baby’s sex with a sweet snap of him kissing his son’s feet.
He wrote: “Good morning son” followed by kisses.
Stacey was only eight months pregnant and appeared on Loose Women just hours before delivering her baby.
She was praised by her followers for sharing a blood spattered picture that revealed the reality of child birth.
The star could be seen lying in bed with her newborn clutched to her chest.
Taking to Instagram, Joe admitted he was in awe of his girlfriend and “witnessed the impossible” as Stacey gave birth.
He shared a photo of Stacey just after giving birth with her newborn nestled on her chest.
“This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life bring a new life into the world,” he wrote.
“We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come. Mummy and baby are well and resting.
“We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months.
“I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling. So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans.
“I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible. My partner, My love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe. Joe X”
Later Joe, 37, shared a picture of the newborn’s hand clutching his hand and shared: “2day has been amazing!!!!”
Earlier this week, Stacey admitted she isn’t concerned by her looks and accepted there will be “placenta everywhere” as the new baby arrives.
And she was looking forward to eating fast food on the way home from the hospital.
She told The Sun Online: “I have given birth twice so I know the mess that I get in. What is the point in having a beauty treatment before? It’s a waste of money.
“The midwives aren’t going to care either. I will be puking up and there will be placenta everywhere and I will have a baby coming out of my vagina, I don’t think I will care.
“I’m going to spend the money on a McDonalds on the way home from hospital.”
And fans rushed to praise Stacey for her honest portrayal of childbirth.
Celeb pal Fearne Cotton wrote: “Wow what a beautifully powerful picture! I’m thrilled for you both.”
Another fan added: “I love this photo more than any photo on Instagram… Why?? …because it’s real because it’s perfect it’s Stacey down to a T… She’s real she’s not fake she’s showing the world exactly what it is to have a baby she’s exhausted but still perfect in every way.”
Another wrote: “Massive congratulations Stacey. Beautiful photo showing how it really is. Much love to you both”
A third fan added: “Such a beautiful and real image so much love for you all.”
Stacey also revealed she still feels like a single mum – despite expecting boyfriend Joe’s baby.
She said her two children Zachery, 11, and Leighton, six, are her “sole responsibility” and she doesn’t expect any man to take them on.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, Stacey said: “Joe and I speak about this a lot and he is an incredible role model in the kids’ lives.
“He supports me fully and he adores me and the children and it is wonderful.
“But still fundamentally I feel like a single mum because they are solely my responsibility and I wouldn’t ask for anyone to take them on.”
Joe is also dad to 11-year-old Harry from a previous relationship.
Stacey’s comments come after she admitted to feeling guilty about having three children by different dads amid fears they would have a “confusing upbringing.”

The former X Factor star says she’s relieved after being asked to rejoin the Loose Women panel following her maternity leave.
She said: “Oh my God, it’s my dream job. You literally sit with your friends and have a laugh and you are part of a really amazing team.
“It’s a real privilege to have a platform to have a voice and I don’t think I will ever not love it.
“They have been really good about saying take the time that you need and they will have me back which is really amazing.
“You are so replaceable and if you’re not there then someone else is going to jump at the chance to do it. Nothing is guaranteed and we are all freelance.”
