But while gym squats and dangerous Brazilian Butt Lifts – which kill one person in every 3,000 procedures – have become all the rage, some A-listers have found a safer and quicker way to get their behind looking bigger.
Following in the footsteps of the rear-enhancing celebrity ‘belfie’ on Instagram, the ‘peach pose’ is fast taking over the red carpet.
It involves stars angling their pelvis forward and their shoulders backwards, while looking over their shoulder sideways towards the camera.
This causes their spine to curve and sends their rear backwards and upwards a couple of inches – creating the illusion of a more shapely bum as well as a smaller waist.
Kylie Jenner, Rita Ora and Hailey Baldwin are just some of the famous faces – and behinds – to use this simple trick for the perfect shot.
What’s more, Bella Hadid, Izabel Goulart and Kimberley Garner have also all enlisted the clever pose recently in Cannes.
However, while the pose has been given the Hollywood seal of approval, it originated with a blogger.
Daisy Keech, a 19-year-old influencer from Los Angeles, has been credited with first showing off the back arch and cinched-in stomach look to her million Instagram followers.
“I’ll stand up straight and spread my legs a little bit to make myself look a little bit wider than if my feet were closer together,” she told the New York Post.
“Then I’ll arch my back a little bit, and I’ll kind of puff out my chest. I breathe out, and my stomach cinches in as I pose.
“If you arch your back a little bit and lean the shoulder closest to the camera forward. It will make your waist look smaller and your butt look bigger.”
But while Daisy makes regular use of the pose on her social media, she also insists she has transformed her bottom naturally through diet and exercise.
“I used to be so afraid of weights. I used to think weights would make me look masculine and bulky, but I was so wrong,” she wrote on Instagram.
“It actually made me look more feminine (in my opinion), and I was able to shape my body the way I wanted with specific exercises!
“What’s funny is I remember thinking my butt looked so good back then! All I did was cardio and eat like a bird.
“Now I am lifting heavy, hardly any cardio, and eating a lot. But the right foods of course. These extra calories were absolutely necessary for my glute growth. Those extra calories went to feeding my muscles so they can grow!”
