Cruachan ran over two and a half miles and was ridden by Adam Nicol. He didn’t run his normal race and whether it was the rather holding ground that he didn’t enjoy or he was just not in the mood – I’m not sure, although saying that he wasn’t beaten too far!!

We had a lovely schooling morning – inc some first time over fences. All of the horses jumped really nicely – happy days.
Cruachan ridden by Adam Nicol ran in the two and a half mile hurdle race and am delighted with the way he travelled and jumped throughout the race to be a very good second place. Again another very pleasing run.

Delighted that after too many weeks of horses being off colour we have entries for next week. Cadore, Silverton and Rinnagree Rosie are all entered to run at Newcastle on Tuesday 7th March
We had another successful Pony Racing accreditation day at the yard on Sunday, the weather was great and all the ponies and children had a fun day – some future jockeys perhaps!!!!
