Indian Ambassador to Armenia donates vital medications to Hematology and Oncology Center
ArmInfo.As part of the cooperation between Armenia and India, the Indian Ambassador to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha, donated a new batch of vital medications to the Yolyan Hematology and Oncology Center.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Health, 21,600 capsules were delivered this time. During a meeting with the Ambassador, First Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan noted that this charitable initiative is crucial for treating children with thalassemia (a hereditary blood disorder - ed.). She added that the medications are provided free of charge. In this regard, Nanushyan emphasized the significance of further developing cooperation between Armenia and India, especially in healthcare. The meeting also highlighted the need to implement new joint programs aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of patient treatment.
