The automotive industry is gearing up for a shift towards stringent emission norms. As a result, the car manufacturers revised their product lineup. In response, Kia has made some tweaks to the powertrains, such as discontinuing diesel manual powertrains in select models like Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. Moreover, Kia has also phased out the 1.4L T-Gdi petrol engine from Seltos and Carens, while the Carens received an upgrade with a more powerful 1.5L T-Gdi engine. However, Seltos is yet to receive the same engine upgrade. As a result of these updates, the Kia India lineup has become costlier by INR 50,000/-,
