All you need to do is rent a movie??
If you are a living, breathing human with an iPhone, you've probably run out of space at some point.

Redditor eavesdroppingyou discovered that if you try to rent a movie from iTunes, your iPhone will automagically erase some files you don't need.
We tried it on an iPhone 5S running iOS 9.3 — and it worked!

First, check your storage. You need to have mere *megabytes* of space left for this to work.
This is because you'll need to rent a movie with a file that's bigger than the space you have left, so it prompts you to delete some content.
To check your storage, go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud.
