Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger was found guilty on all charges, except for reckless driving, related to her DUI from earlier this year, reports People. “Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s attorney A. Scott Bolden shared in a statement to the outlet. On March 19, Huger crashed her car while driving home from a dinner with a friend, and witnesses at the time claimed the vehicle smelled like alcohol. Body cam footage of the incident has been released following the verdict; an officer in the clip continued to ask Huger if she had alcohol that evening but did not receive a straight answer. Several days after the crash, Huger was charged with a DUI and DWI, and eventually, she released a statement with no mention of the DUI charge and blamed the accident on her “emotional state” and grief related to the death of her parents. “With the passing of my Beloved Mother, Grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mother’s Day approaching it has felt more like a tsunami,” she said at the time. “Last night I met a girlfriend for dinner, we talked and brought up some very emotionally sensitive topics. I was crying on my way home and saw a car heading right for me.” Her sentencing is scheduled for January 29.
