This weekend kicks off with more mild temperatures across Central Ohio. Highs eventually top off in the middle 40s. Skies start off mostly clear, but more clouds will roll in as the day goes on. With winds from the east at 5-10 mph, wind chills will keep the air feeling like the upper 30s.
Rain shower chanced pick up again tonight over most of the state. At times these rain rates will be heavy. Overnight lows will only drop to the mid 30s. Air temps above the surface will stay warm enough that what ends up falling will be just rain and not a wintry mix.
Scattered showers are expected to continue through at least the first half of tomorrow. By the afternoon more spotty rain will linger around. Temperatures will top off in the mid 40s once again. Winds speeds are also going to pick up tomorrow and will be fairly breezy at times.
Even more rain rolls in on Monday. By the time all is said and done roughly 2 inches of rain will fall across much of Central Ohio. Highs will also really warm up as temps top off in the mid 50s. These warm temps will not last much longer as a cold front arrives Monday night.
More chances for scattered rain pop up in the middle of the week. Temperatures will continue on their downward trend as well. Eventually a dip in the jet stream will drop temps to below normal for this time of year by this upcoming weekend. This includes temps below the freezing point by kickoff of the upcoming game at Ohio Stadium.
