CHELSEA, New York (PIX11) – Fire was seen raining down from the roof of the historic Empire Diner in Manhattan early Friday morning.
CitizenApp video from the scene shows flames on the roof and sparks possibly falling inside the diner.
Fire officials say they responded to reports of a rubbish fire just before 3 a.m. Friday morning. The incident was resolved without injuries by 4:35 a.m.
PIX11 News reached out to the Empire Diner for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication.
