UFC 311 is a little over a month away.
On Jan. 18, the first pay-per-view of the year goes down when UFC 311 takes place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. Headlined by a lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan, and also featuring a bantamweight title fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov, UFC 311 figured to kick 2025 off in a big way, and on Thursday, the UFC revealed the official fight poster for the event.

Makhachev already has three successful lightweight title defenses under his belt, and has a chance to make history at UFC 311, by breaking the record for most lightweight title defenses — a mark he currently shares with B.J. Penn, Benson Henderson, and Khabib Nurmagomedov. If he wins, Makhachev is already making overtures about moving up to 170 pounds to pursue a second UFC title.
Of course, Tsarukyan may have something to say about that. The 28-year-old No. 1 contender fell to Makhachev in his short notice UFC debut back in 2019, but has since put together a 9-1 record in the promotion, with wins over Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush.
The co-main event is no less exciting than the main, as Dvalishvili defends his title for the first time against a man many consider to be the best bantamweight in the world, Umar Nurmagomedov. Things have already gotten heated between the two and that figures to continue as the fight draws closer.
