Well done to Dundalk FC’s Calum Woods who enjoyed a week-long trial with English Premier League club Ipswich Town.
Calum, who is an Under-16 international for the North, played for Ipswich’s Under-16s on Saturday, scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory.
Meanwhile, Dundalk FC’s Conor O’Gorman is off to America.
O’Gorman, who featured for our first team in the Leinster Senior Cup in each of the past two seasons and a regular for our Under-20 team, is heading to the States to study at Lees-McRae College near Charlotte, North Carolina, where he will play in NCAA D2.
Thanks to Conor for his time at Oriel. We wish him all the best in his future!
