Hannah and Stephen were paired by the MAFS experts, Paul Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas.
Meeting for the first time at the alter, there was an instant connection between the couple on their wedding day.
The two greeted each other with delight and didn’t hesitate to take their marital kiss in the presence of their wedding guests.
Despite being attracted to one another, things took a bad turn on their honeymoon.
Despite being paired for the shared interest in fitness and family, Hannah and Stephen ended up having a major fall out.
While they were meant to be bonding on their honeymoon in sunny Puerto Vallarta, viewers saw scenes of an explosive row between the couple.
Scenes over dinner revealed that Hannah had threatened to tell a secret that Stephen had shared with her off-screen.
This caused a breakdown in trust that Stephen found difficult to recover from.
Hannah and Stephen remained in the experiment for six weeks.
Taking on the advice from the MAFS experts they attempted living together after their honeymoon, but ended up living in separate apartments.
Hannah continued to place their relationship on rocky ground after getting involved in a wife-swapping scandal with Orson.
Rumours were circulating that Hannah and Orson were flirting and had even shared a secret kiss.
They were also claims that Hannah and Ryan had also shared a connection, which she denied and insisted was a friendship.
The cheating scandals not only lost Hannah the respect of her groom Stephen, but of the other cast members too.
Hannah explained: “Every single one of the girls came for me at some point. Lacey was being quite bad and got watered down a little bit.
“I cried and it was horrible.”
Hannah clashed with Polly after she was accused of flirting with Sionainn Carmichael‘s husband Ryan Livesey.
But Holly Ditchfield also argued with Hannah on several occasions, even saying: “Oh, look what the cat has dragged in” at girls’ night as Hannah arrived back on the show.
Stephen got caught up in his own scandals in the week that followed after he took a liking to Ryan‘s bride Sionainn.
This led to a fall out between him and Ryan, with Sionainn knocking him back after he attempted to ‘DM’ her on Instagram.
Hannah and Stephen left the experiment in week six.
Stephen firmly wrote ‘leave’ on his decision card and with nothing left to fight for Hannah agreed to leave the show.
The two do not follow each other on Instagram since leaving MAFS (as of December 11, 2024), which could indicate that they pair did not make peace.
