After having a couple of net sessions in Adelaide, the Indian team departed for Brisbane ahead of the 3rd Test of the Border-Gavaskar series which is scheduled to commence from December 14.
However, as per reports, the team bus departed for the Adelaide airport without young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal. The Indian team had a flight scheduled for 10:05 am local time on Wednesday. The team was set to leave their hotel at 8:30 am as per local time, however Jaiswal was nowhere to be found and the entire squad had to wait for the player.
The reports claimed that after waiting for some time, Rohit Sharma stepped down the bus and had a chat with the team manager and the liaison officer. The skipper looked quite unhappy due to the fact that Jaiswal had made the entire team wait for him.
Indian team then left without Jaiswal at around 8:50 am. The left-hander then reportedly boarded a car along with the team’s security officer and started his journey towards the airport.
The Men in Blue suffered a major setback which came in the form of a 10-wicket defeat against Australia in Adelaide. The Baggy Greens’ triumph in the second Test levelled the series at 1-1. India will definitely be looking to bounce back in the upcoming Brisbane Test and once again take the advantage over the Aussies.
