A 25-year-old woman was injured after a hit-and-run crash involving two cars in south London.
The crash happened on Portland Road, South Norwood, at around 7.50am this morning.
The woman, who was in one of the cars, was taken to a south London hospital.
Police did not specify any injuries, only that she would be assessed by medics.
The occupants of the other vehicle fled the scene before police arrived.
Photos show one of the cars on its roof and the other with a badly damaged bonnet with several emergency crews surrounding the vehicles.
Road closures were in place while officers investigated the scene and the vehicles were removed.
The Metropolitan Police is appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage that could help the investigation.
Yesterday a woman in her 60s died in Ilford, east London, after she was struck by a car that crashed into a house.
Emergency services were called to Eastern Avenueat around 4.10pm yesterday to reports that a car had collided with a pedestrian, other vehicles and a building.
Police, paramedics and the fire service attended but sadly she died at the scene.
The driver stopped at the scene and was not arrested.
