The Jacksonville Jaguars have gone through all sorts of struggles in 2024 and plenty of that comes on the offensive side of the football.
Mac Jones took over in recent weeks with injuries to starter Trevor Lawrence. Jones has failed to consistently get the group to double-digit performances. The Jaguars somehow did that Sunday with a 10-6 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The win snapped a five-game skid for the Jaguars, though that didn’t come without another forgettable play from Jones.
Jacksonville had the ball near midfield just before the end of the first half when Jones dropped back to pass. He backpedaled away from pressure and ripped an ill-advised throw that Tennessee’s Otis Reese IV picked off to close out the half.
You can watch the comical play here.
Jones has not found any more success after three seasons with the New England Patriots. The fourth-year quarterback has just two touchdown passes and now five interceptions with the Jaguars.
