With two equalizer modes available—Full Mode and Clear Mode—users can tweak the audio profile to their preference. Full Mode provides a warm, rounded sound that suits casual listening while Clear Mode offers a cleaner, more neutral profile, ideal for those who value precision over power.
The subwoofer, designed to operate wirelessly, complements the speakers with two bass settings: full bass and deep bass. Full bass is restrained and adds texture without overwhelming the mix. Deep bass, however, is assertive, delivering a richer low end that pairs well with cinematic audio or bass-driven music.
Battery longevity is another of the system’s most impressive qualities, clocking in at up to 30 hours per charge. This is a significant advantage for portable speakers, especially for users planning extended use away from outlets.
The Stadium 2.0’s wireless connectivity improvements are equally noteworthy. The upgraded antenna system ensures stable performance across distances, the pairing process is intuitive, and the new long-range connectivity feature ensures you can spread your setup up to 150 feet apart without audio dropout—making the Stadium 2.0 ideal for larger rooms or outdoor gatherings.

TWICE has had the opportunity to use the Rocksteady Stadium 2.0 Subwoofer along with two Stadium speakers throughout the summer, and we’re pleased with how well they performed at any venue we took them to.
The extended battery life particularly shone when we used the system while camping at a family reunion, leaving our power banks free for smartphones and tablets. More than a few people remarked how they had to charge their other brand Bluetooth speakers nightly, but the Rocksteady Stadium 2.0 system lasted almost a whole week with moderate daily use before needing a charge.
The black matte finish speaker housing is solid, without being overly heavy, and the subwoofer adds a depth that is missing with most Bluetooth speakers at this price point. The touch controls are responsive and we liked that we could use as many speakers as we liked to match our needs. The speakers have a keyhole slot, which allows for easy attachment of a carrying strap (available in woven or leather styles) if you choose. Be aware, though, that while you can use these speakers outdoors they are not waterproof and you’ll want to make sure you take them in out of the rain and keep them out of the line of fire of your sprinkler system.
Sound is crisp with the subwoofer adding oomph without being overbearing. We did have to adjust the bass with heavier house, rock, metal, and hip-hop tunes, but the quick switch between Deep and Clear bass made it a quick and easy adjustment on the fly.
One minor annoyance we had was that transporting the speakers and subwoofer can be a hassle without a large enough bag, but fortunately, Rocksteady offers a stylish carrying case for sale on their website – a much better and custom-cushioned option in our opinion.
Rocksteady’s Stadium 2.0 system delivers on its promise of portability, expandability, and sound quality, making it a solid contender in the wireless speaker market. Its thoughtful upgrades—from redesigned drivers to extended battery life—make it a worthy successor to the original.
