New Delhi: In the 2025 IPL Auction, Indian batter Karun Nair registered himself for the mega event at the base price of INR 30 lakhs. The right-handed batter has been carrying on his trade for four teams in the IPL so far and has not played in the competition since 2022.
The journey of the star cricketer in IPL began in 2013 when he made his debut in the competition while playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He played only 3 games in IPL 2013 before being signed by Rajasthan Royals.

Talking about the statistics, With the Royals, he enjoyed his breakthrough IPL season as he scored 330 runs at a strike rate of 142.24 in IPL 2014. In 2017, he also led Delhi Capitals in a handful of games.
From 2018 to 2020, he played for Punjab Kings. In his first season with Punjab, Karun Nair scored 301 runs before playing only 5 games in the next two seasons. Ahead of IPL 2021, he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders before moving to Rajasthan Royals in 2022. He last played in the IPL in 2022.
