Star QB Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide (8-2) play the Oklahoma Sooners (5-5) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
The Crimson Tide head into the matchup after winning 52-7 over the Mercer Bears in their last game on Nov. 16. Last time out, the Sooners lost 30-23 to the Missouri Tigers. Milroe had 186 yards on 11-of-16 passing (68.8%) for the Tide in that matchup against the Bears, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added six carries for 43 yards and one rushing touchdown. Justice Haynes carried the ball six times for 37 yards (6.2 yards per carry). Germie Bernard recorded four receptions for 81 yards (averaging 20.3 per catch) against the Bears. Jackson Arnold’s performance for the Sooners against the Tigers included 15-of-24 passing for 74 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. He rushed 17 times for 45 yards. Xavier Robinson carried the ball nine times for 56 yards (6.2 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added one catch for seven yards. Deion Burks caught five passes for 44 yards (8.8 yards per catch).
