IOWA CITY, Iowa. – The Razorbacks continued action at the mideseason Iowa Hawkeye Invite as seven Hogs qualified for the A-Finals tonight after Friday morning’s prelims.
Rebecca Simpson posted the top time of 1:47.40 in the 200 Free to secure her spot in the A-Final tonight. Sydney Craft will join Simpson after placing seventh with a 1:48.98 finish. Bella Cothern, Eleonora Camisa and Delaney Harrison all qualified for the 100 Fly A-Final after finishing fourth, fifth and seventh, respectively.
Holly Robinson came in at 4:17.14 which was good for a seventh-place finish and a spot in the 400 IM A-Final. Cothern and Bradi Jones both punched their ticket to the 100 Breast A-Final as Cothern posted a time of 1:01.74 to finish sixth while Jones came in at 1:01.83 to finish seventh. Ashley Morton posted a time of 55.81 in the 100 Back to finish just outside the top eight in 10th place.
The Razorbacks will be back in action this evening at 5 pm CST for finals action. The events will be streamed here.
