Childish Gambino has been forced to cancel more tour dates.
The 41-year-old rapper and actor, whose real name is Donald Glover, launched the tour in early August and then postponed a full month-run of dates due to illness. In October, Donald announced that he was cancelling the postponed tour dates for North America, the U.K. and Europe as he had to have surgery.
Then on Thursday (November 21), Donald announced that he was cancelling the Australian and New Zealand leg of his world tour scheduled for Janaury and February 2025 as he continued to recover after the surgery.
Keep reading to find out more…“Unfortunately, my path to recovery is taking longer than expected,” Donald shared in a statement with ticketholders, according to ABC’s triple J. “The upcoming concerts in Australia and New Zealand are cancelled. One of the last things I’d ever want to do is disappoint my fans.”
“I really appreciate the support you have shown and know that I will do what I can to give u an exceptional experience when the time is right. Thank you,” he added.
