Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auctions is set to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. This will be the second consecutive time when the auctions will be held outside India. England pacer Jofra Archer had earlier been added to the list of players for auctions, now BCCI has decided to add India based USA cricketer Saurabh Netravalkar along with Mumbai’s Hardik Tamore to the auction list.
Though the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to officially confirm this news, sources have informed that Archer has been included in there and the franchises will look forward to take in the England pacer.
Jofra Archer:
Archer got taken by Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2022, where he took only 2 wicket in 5 matches in IPL 2023. Archer has 48 wickets in 40 IPL matches as of now, and any franchise can take him in their camp.
Saurabh Netravalkar:
India-based American pacer Saurabh Netravalkar had a massive impact in the 2024 T20 World Cup earlier this year. He can also now make his dream of playing in the IPL come true. Netravalkar will enter the auctions with a base price of 50 lakhs and is opeb for any franchise to take him with them.
Hardik Tamore:
Hardik, who has had a significant impact in domestic cricket for Mumbai has been included in the auction list as the last player. He has been taken in as the 577th player.
