Poul Henningsen hated bright lights and glare. So he designed better lights that today are in cities worldwide.
Danish designer Poul Henningsen’s collaboration with Copenhagen-based heritage brand Louis Poulsen produced some of the most recognizable icons of 20th-century modernism. The Artichoke pendant and PH table lamp are part of the permanent collection at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art, while Henningsen’s other designs make frequent appearances in the stylish homes featured in Architectural Digest, T Magazine, and The World of Interiors.
