What's all this with Manchester, and the general north west, putting claim to chips and gravy?
I'm not saying we invented them but we always had chips and gravy from the chippy along with curry sauce ( or if you was my mate, chips and curry sauce with a pot of cockles poured on top).
Strangely enough the best chips and gravy was from our local Chinese takeaway.
They will be claiming orange chips are there's next. The northern chip pan heads.
