This is the first picture of a 14-year-old girl who collapsed and died at a south Wales rugby club.
Seren-Ella Jenkins collapsed on Friday evening at Amman United Rugby Football Club.
She was treated by an air ambulance, which arrived at 9.55pm, and airlifted to hospital but unfortunately died the next morning.
Police are probing Seren’s ‘unexplained’ death.
Seren’s schoolfriends have now set up fundrasier to help her parents, Stephen and Sarah, pay for the cost of her funeral.
Cari Bradshaw, one of those behind the idea, said: ‘I’ve set up this page because my friends and I would like to raise money to help Stephen, Sarah and the family with the costs for the funeral and memorial for our very special friend Seren.
‘Seren was suddenly taken from us all on Saturday 16th November, she’s left a big hole in all our hearts and we miss her very much.’
More than £6,000 has already been raised.
Amman United Rugby Football Club postponed all matches last weekend following the girl’s death.
A Dyfed Powys Police spokeswoman said: ‘Police were called on Friday evening, November 15th, to a report of a medical emergency in the Ammanford area.
‘A female teenager became unwell and was taken to hopsital where, sadly, she passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning.
‘Our thoughts remain with the family at this difficult time.
‘The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be prepared for the coroner.’
