Democratic Rep. Sean Casten (IL) told MSNBC on Wednesday that he has filed a resolution that would force a vote on the full House to decide whether to release the Ethics Committee investigation report on former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).
Gaetz was under investigation for engaging in a sexual relationship with an underage teen, paying for sex, and illicit drug use, all of which he denies.
The report, quoted by MSNBC host Katie Phang, said such a step "would maneuver around the cumbersome and slow committee process."

“Any lawmaker who disclosed the report could face immediate consequences, like censure or expulsion," Phang also quoted.
One of those Democrats on the 10-member committee is Pennsylvania Democratic Rep. Susan Wild, who was ousted by a Republican, Ryan Mackenzie, and will exit Congress next year.
