Prior to this Sunday’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Quarter-Final against Rangers, supporters are asked to familiarise themselves with the following information.
UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT
In our last away fixture at Hearts several arrests were made associated with items being thrown, pyrotechnics, and general behaviour. The review of CCTV footage is underway, and anyone identified being involved in an act of criminality can expect the strictest of sanctions.
We remind all supporters that anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, caught throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, bringing of bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken. The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the Courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in unacceptable conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!
The use of pyrotechnics is a criminal offence and action will be taken against those caught in possession on the day and similarly anyone identified through the post-match review of CCTV will face similar action sanctions by the Club.
It’s been shown we do not need this at our matches to create an atmosphere. In addition to the toxic fumes that are emitted the disruption to the match is something on a football perspective is not welcomed by the Football Department.
Your Club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.
Walkways should be kept clear, and you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a Ground Regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

TICKETING and ENTRY
Tickets are only available to Hibernian FC supporters who currently have an existing Ticketing Account on the Club’s Database. Tickets are available online at TICKETS - CLICK HERE or in person from the Ticket Hub up to kick-off. With the game kicking off at 5.30pm, turnstiles will open promptly at 4.30pm and you are advised to arrive as close as possible to opening to avoid queues at the turnstiles.
As a condition of entry, you may be searched on entry and supporters are reminded that no large bags or rucksacks are permitted within the stadium.
TRAVEL
Locally there are still restrictions at Abbeyhill at the end of Regent Road and even though the match is on Sunday you can still expect an impact in the York Place and Leith Street area slowing the routes through the City towards Easter Road. You are advised to give ample travel time for your journey.

SEGREGATION
Supporters are advised that the route around the rear of the South Stand will be closed before and after this match. We are sorry if this causes an inconvenience, but it is done in the interest of public safety.
Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
