VPL is not ideal at the best of times – but as we head into party season, seam-free underwear is an absolute essential with your favourite festive fits.
We recently had the chance to review the best running underwear for women and the good news is: not only were we left impressed with Sloggi’s Zero Feel Maxi Underwear, but there’s currently a deal on at Amazon that shoppers are racing to snap up.
Normally retailing at £16 via the online retail giant, eagle-eyed bargain hunters have spotted that the pants are selling for as low as £8 – an amazing 50% off.
Made from a polyamide and elastane blend, the briefs promise ‘no seams, no marks’ and a zero-feel wearing experience for true comfort.
The maxi cut is great if you’re looking for coverage, with wide sides and a waistband that sits just below the belly button.
Sloggi also states that you’ll have ‘freedom of movement’ when wearing the underwear, thanks to the silky and flexible multi-stretch jersey that comes with high elasticity.

And importantly, the lines of the briefs should be completely invisible under your clothing: perfect if you’ve got a party dress in mind that requires a smooth silhouette with zero visible panty lines.
Personal trainer Lucy Gornall tried a pair for herself in her roundup of the best running underwear for women and listed the pros as ‘seam-free; soft; great colour selection’.
She wrote: ‘Sloggi has created a totally seam-free pair of pants that feel so soft, you’ll barely feel them on your skin. In fact, these sit great under my gym leggings, although there is a very slight knicker line. That’s to be expected though.’
She also praised the sweat-wicking properties of the pants, commenting: ‘The slightly raised waistband helps to keep things tucked in and the thicker gusset dries fast, so there’s less of a sweat build-up down there. Oh, and the colour selection is just divine. Who knew underwear could be so gorgeous?’
It’s not clear how long the deal will last, so we’d recommend shopping while you can, to avoid disappointment.
Do also bear in mind that the product has varying price points across different colours and sizes: we were able to find the cheapest price on the ‘Foujere’ lime green colourway in XS for just £8.
If you need more convincing, there are over 300 shopper reviews on Amazon with an average rating of 4.1 out of 5.
‘I took the pants out of the envelope and thought “How is that ever going to stay up?”. But it does and it feels very comfortable without the elastic around the waist or hips. I really like the pants and I seldom write reviews,’ raves one impressed shopper.
‘Lovely and soft with no seams, so no vpl. Would buy again,’ says another.
