Anitta Owns the Stage in Strappy Black Sandal Heels at Global Citizen Festival 2023
Anitta attended the Global Citizen Festival 2023 held in New York today. The Brazilian songstress is slated to perform at the event today along with a whole slew of artists.
Prior to hitting the stage, the “Rave de Favela” songstress stepped into a pair of classic black sandal heels. The hitmaker’s heels were crafted of glossy patent leather uppers that transitioned into rounded toes.
The footwear featured a thick and sturdy strap-heavy construction that laid across the tops of her toes in pairs and around her ankles, securing the strappy style in place. Thin 2 to 3 stiletto heels rounded out Anitta’s simple set, offering the performer a subtle boost in height.
The “Ai Papai” singer was styled in a striking textural crushed black velvet jumpsuit. The garment was comprised of long sleeves, a plunging neckline and a shiny finish thanks to the velvet. Anitta’s jumpsuit was belted, defining her waistline, and worn with shiny gold hoops that matched the buckles on her belt. The highly-decorated star wore her lengthy locks parted down the middle and styled in face-framing waves.
Anitta’s personal fashion aesthetic consists of statement-making pieces with structured details. For red-carpet events, sumptuous dresses become a constant, but when she’s onstage creativity comes to the forefront. On the footwear front, the performer often gravitates towards sky-high pumps, thigh-high boots and strappy sandals.
Global Citizen Festival 2023 is a benefit concert held in New York on Sept. 23, 2023 in Central Park. The festival features many hard-hitting acts including BTS’s Jungkook, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lauryn Hill, Anitta, Conan Gray, D-Nice, Sofia Carson and Stray Kids. The event offers fans free tickets in exchange for social change. Speakers at the event include Bill Nye the Science Guy, television personality Padma Lakshmi, basketball star Carmelo Anthony and rapper Common.
