Swiss-based miner-trader Glencore’s metals adjusted EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) rose by 50% year on year to total $2.5 billion in 2021, underpinned by higher metal commodities prices and a widespread supply-demand deficit, the company said in a new financial report for 2021.
