More than 700 thousand people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Moscow. Anastasia Rakova, deputy mayor of the city for social development, announced this on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel, TASS reports.
Rakova noted that vaccination in the Russian capital is going “very well”. According to her, from 10 to 15 thousand people are vaccinated daily in Moscow.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the lifting of the mandatory self-isolation regime for the elderly and citizens with chronic diseases. However, he urged them to refrain from travel as much as possible. Then it became known that from April 1 in Russia the mandatory transfer of employees over 65 to remote work was canceled. This requirement will become advisory in nature.
Mass vaccination against coronavirus started on January 18 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the end of January, Sobyanin said that in Moscow, about 500 thousand people signed up for vaccination against coronavirus.
